Yes, there is a £10 non-refundable booking fee to secure a seat at the next meal. This can be paid via Stripe when you sign up.

No. You will need to pay for your own food and drink. We sort the venue and bring the people.

We're intentionally aiming for a small group of 10-12 freelance marketers so folks can meet some friendly faces without it being overwhelming. There will be a mixture of existing DMU members attending as well as other freelancers who work in marketing.

We're hoping to bring together a small group of 10-12 freelance marketers for some deep conversations. What they focus on in their businesses will vary but you can expect to meet folks who specialise in Analytics, Content Marketing, Design, Email, Paid Social and PPC, PR, SEO, Social Media, UX, Web Development as well as folks who are fractional marketers and strategists.

The focus is on bringing together freelance/solo/independent and self-employed marketers so this may not be the right event for you. However, if you're thinking of going freelance and want to meet some people who are already doing they're own thing then you'd be more than welcome. We hope not. The goal of DMU Eats is to offer some time away from the laptop where folks can have deep conversations about freelance life over some good food. There will be no formal presentations, pitches or sponsors from the DMU at any of the events.

If the host is ill, then we'll do our best to find another DMU member to step into the role. If this isn't possible then may cancel the lunch. In this instance all booking fees will be refunded.
