What do members actually discuss?

There’s several dedicated channels set up to keep messages focussed. The most heavily used channels are:

• dm-questions - for business and general marketing questions
 • dm-work - to share leads you can’t take on or to pick up work
 • dm-talks - for updates on our latest sessions
 • dm-share-stuff - for industry updates and articles that may interest you

We also have:

• dm-shout - to share the achievements you’re proud of
 • dm-rants - to share those moments when you need to rage
 • dm-fun-hobbies-pets - random discoveries from the internet, pictures of your hobbies (baking, swimming, hiking and cycling are all often shared). Plus, naturally pictures of your pets

Can I reach out to other members?

We have a lot of very generous members that are willing to share their time and expertise, so folks are always welcome to reach out and connect with others in the community. Just don’t spam people.

What happens to old content?

The posts, wisdom and comments that are shared within the DMU are copied over and organised into the DMU Hub so you can find still access the very best of our knowledge.

What languages are spoken in the DMU?

Accepted Answer

English is the default language used in the DMU - although over 20 other languages are spoken by members.
