Meet Sarah-Louise

I've worked in SEO for 10 years and have been writing professionally for about as long, too! Starting out in music journalism and volunteering at a local community centre, I've since worked in agencies, in-house at a kilt shop and have been working freelance for 3 years.

Early in my career, I worked on websites for large banks, insurers, and household names but as I've progressed, I've found that my passion lies with small businesses and the third sector. Last year I provided SEO training to charities for free as part of Third Sector Lab's "The Curve" sessions and provided Writing For the Web training to Young Scot attendees. Additionally, I was shortlisted for the 2020 New Writers Award by the Scottish Book Trust.
