Meet Graeme

Hello!

I’m an indie freelance copywriter of 10 years with a career background in print, design, and marketing. I also have a good working knowledge of SEO (though I’m not an expert by any means!).

I offer a range of copywriting services for websites, blogs and articles, brochures, product descriptions, and business case studies. Working with SMEs and creative/web agencies (in the UK and beyond) I write sharp, engaging, and fully-researched B2B and B2C copy – mainly SEO copy for websites/landing pages and blog content) – that connects, inspires, and converts.

As a generalist, I don’t specialise in any one sector or topic area, which means I’ve worked on copy from legal, tech, and clothing to food, mental health, property, and various trades – and plenty more. (If I could write more for one area in particular, it would be for the property/architecture sectors – selling the dream and the lifestyle with aspirational copy is right up my street.

I also offer proofreading and copyediting services. Any businesses that have their copy written in-house can benefit from a fresh pair of eyes to review, refine, and restructure content while checking for errors, typos, and consistency.

I work remotely from my home office in Newton Abbot, Devon (right between Exeter and Plymouth) with all the kit I need to focus on writing client copy with superfast wi-fi for Zoom/Teams meetings and catch-ups (often with unscheduled appearances from my cats).
